Activities

After School Enrichment (ASE) is an incredible opportunity hosted by the GES PTO in partnership with GES educators, staff, and approved instructors. This program aims to provide our Gators with added opportunities for educational growth within a familiar and nurturing setting.

Our courses are diverse, spanning various interests such as art, dance, sports, fitness, book club, chess, gardening, and STEM, among others. Our dedicated instructors ensure a well-rounded and enjoyable experience, going the extra mile for our Gators.

Our fifth graders at GES participate in the DARE program. This program is facilitated by a dedicated officer from the Stafford Sheriff's Office, aiming to equip our students with tools to lead lives devoid of drugs, violence, bullying, and other challenging situations.

The DARE program is an engaging experience, fostering a safe and supportive environment where our Gators learn essential skills for navigating life's complexities.

Gator Ambassadors are 4th and 5th graders who serve as leaders and role models for our student body. These Gators work with our counselors to complete service projects and support new students and families as they join our Gator community.

Each year a group of 5th graders are selected to design and paint a mural in GES. These students work with our art teacher throughout the school year to bring their creation to life.

Singing Gators are a group of 4th and 5th grade students who meet weekly with our music teacher. Our Singing Gators perform throughout the year at various school and county events.

WGES is our morning news show at Garrisonville Elementary School! This program is run by our 5th graders who serve as both hosts and producers, delivering our morning annoucements and running the technology behind the scenes.
