Administration
Mrs. Nicole Clemente, Principal
Welcome to Garrisonville Elementary School! I am honored to join this incredible school community as your new principal. Over the past decade, I have proudly served as an assistant principal within Stafford County Public Schools, first at Widewater Elementary and most recently at Anne E. Moncure Elementary. My passion for education and commitment to fostering strong relationships have been central to my leadership journey.
At Moncure, I had the privilege of launching impactful programs like “Buddy Bears,” which supported students with chronic absenteeism, and the “Hibearnation Celebration,” which provided families with warm food, clothing, and books during the holiday season. I firmly believe that building a supportive and inclusive environment is essential for every student’s success.
Originally from Ohio, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Youngstown State University and my Master’s in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. I am currently expanding my skills as part of the Statewide Communities of Practice for Excellence (SCOPE), collaborating with educational leaders across Virginia to enhance instructional practices.
Outside of school, my husband and I are proud parents of two wonderful children who inspire me every day. I am thrilled to bring my passion for education, dedication to students, and commitment to community to Garrisonville Elementary. Together, we will create a thriving and nurturing environment where every child can succeed.
Please feel free to contact me at clementen@staffordschools.net with any questions, ideas, or simply to say hello. I look forward to an amazing year ahead with the Garrisonville family!
Let’s make it a great year, Garrisonville Gators!
Mrs. Jodi Odlum, Assistant Principal
Mrs. Odlum taught kindergarten, first and second grade prior to becoming an administrator. She has a degree in Elementary Education and Administrative Leadership from Purdue University and the University of North Florida, respectively. With her own three children having attended and graduated from Stafford County Public Schools, she is vested in this county and all that Stafford Schools has to offer. The Gator staff and administrative team hold high standards for all of our students. We strive to grow all students into independent problem solvers, life-long learners, and leaders of tomorrow.
